The CSC team has Bobby Julich and Jens Voigt in the squad, both twice winners of the Criterium International. CSC team director, Alian Gallopin told letour.fr about the squad’s goals for the day: “Yesterday allowed us to see who the leaders are. Anything can happen, but for me Valverde will be very hard to beat, he seems to be quite fit and this race suits him. But we have come to win something. I know I have two riders capable of winning the time trial. Jens is on form and Bobby, who competed on Paris-Nice was feeling very strong yesterday”.

Olaf Pollack (All – WIE) will be in the yellow jersey thanks to the time bonus for winning yesterday’s stage at Charleville-MĂ©zières. He leads Furlan (Ita – C.A) and Gaztanaga (Esp – AGR).
The formrer track racer also leads in the points race. The green jersey will be worn by Furlan, who is second overall.
Benjamin Johnson (Aus – TSL),was the first rider to pass the summit of the final climb when he tried a solo attack in the final kilometres of the stage and now leads in the climbing standings. The Australian is on equal points with Tiziano Dall’Antonia (Ita – PAN). He will wear the polka-dot jersey.
Matteo Priamo(Ita – PAN), 6th overall on the opening stage of the Criterium International, leads in the junior division.

Olaf Pollack (GER – WEI), winner of stage one from Asfeld to Charlevillle-Mézières, start’s today second stage from Les Vielles Fordges-Montherme in yellow. Pollack picked up the 10-second bonus ahead of Angelo Furlan (ITA – C.A) and Mikel Gaztanaga (ESP – AGR). The former track competitor also leads in points. Second overall Furlan will ride in the green jersey.
